Regular Season Round 32: Groningen - Oostende 84-82

The most exciting game of round 32 in the BNXT League took place in Groningen. This derby game ended with only two-point defeat on the road of second-ranked BelgianOostende (24-8) to seventh ranked Dutch Groningen (18-13) 84-82 on Sunday evening. It was quite big embarassment for the guest team. It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of Oostende. Groningen shot the lights out from three sinking 13 long-distance shots on high 52.0 percentage. The best player for the winners was American swingman Evan Taylor (198-2001, college: Vanderbilt, agency: LHZ Sport Agency) who scored 26 points and 5 rebounds. The other American import guard Austin Luke (191-1994, college: Belmont) chipped in a double-double by scoring 13 points and 12 assists. Danish-Israeli point guard Noam Yaacov (186-2004) produced 24 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists and American swingman Tytan Anderson (198-2002, college: UNI) added 10 points and 6 rebounds respectively for the guests. Five Groningen and four Oostende players scored in double figures. Oostende's coach tried various players' combinations and tested in total eleven players in this game, but that didn't help. Groningen moved-up to sixth place, which they share with Den Bosch. Defending Belgian champion Oostende keeps the second position with eight games lost. They share it with Aalst.
